This is often the fate of dogs afflicted with medical issues. Cole, a senior dog with cancer, was discarded by his owner, much like throwing away an old pair of shoes.
In 2015, Michele and Jeff Allen said enough is enough and started Monkey’s House a Dog Hospice & Sanctuary. Celebrating the beauty each dog has to offer, they welcomed over 100 hospice dogs in the five years since they opened. Enjoy inspiring stories of dogs living in the moment.
